Thoughts on Mailing Love...

I could write to you, and express my feelings in writing.

But the last time I did that, you put my heart in an envelope and sent it back to me.

Blame it on the mailman. Blame it on the mailman.

I put my soul on paper and you'll never get to see it.

I put my heart on paper and you'll never get to hear it.

Lost in the post. Lost in the post.

I'm lost in the post. My heart, my soul.

Blame it on the mailman. Blame it on the mailman.

Shouldn't have bothered paying the postal fee.

Wrapped up in brown paper packaging and tied up in string. I thought that was one of your favourite things.

I didn't bother writing my address on the back as it was all meant for you.

I could write to you, and express my feelings in writing.

But it hurts.

Email is more reliable anyway. And less personal.
